The easiest and tastiest
  • 4 filet mignon steaks, approximate 8 ounces and 1 to 1¼ inches thick
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons steak sauce
  • fresh ground sea salt and pepper
  1. Heat the grill to high heat (450° to 550°F).
  2. Bring the steaks to room temperature. Approximately 10-15 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle the garlic powder on both side.
  4. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  5. Drizzle the steak sauce over the steak right before adding to the grill.
  6. Brush the grill grates clean.
  7. Grill the steaks over direct high heat, with the lid closed, until cooked to desired doneness.
  8. Turn once using tongs.
  9. minutes for medium rare or 10-12 minute for medium.
  10. Remove the steaks from the grill and let rest for 3 to 5 minutes.
