There is something about Baby and Wedding Showers.  Is it the waiting, is it the anticipation, is it that it feels like a new beginning?  It’s hard to put our finger on it but there is something just so exciting.   I love being part of any type of Shower and was so excited when Brandie from Home Cooking Memories suggested this week’s fun Sunday Supper theme – Baby and Wedding Showers.

You can’t have a Baby and Wedding Shower without the Punch, the Party Favors and the Games.   But for me, you can’t have a shower without the Quiche.  I love Quiche and think it is the perfect food for entertaining.  You can make it ahead of time and lightly warm it up.  One of my favorite Quiches is Spinach, especially a good Crustless Spinach Quiche!

This Recipe for is so simple.  It is not a fluffy and high Quiche, but more of a Custard Quiche.  I just love the consistency of it and get rave reviews when I make it for company.

OK, so this quiche lover is drooling! I like that it has more of a custard-like consistency… and that it’s a perfect low-carb meal- especially for breakfast! ;-)

What’s a shower without a great looking quiche! And it looks super simple! I’m going to have this on the burner for my next shower :)

There is something so lovely and fitting about quiche for ladies’ luncheons and showers! And with the array of desserts at baby and bride-to-be parties, the crustless aspect of the dish is perfect. Thank you for this recipe, Isabel.

Just my idea of a great quiche- I prefer a custardy version- and no hassle of a crust?? even better! Beautiful!

Courtney @Neighborfood April 21, 2013 at 9:28 pm

I love this crustless version of quiche! It means my mom who is gluten free can enjoy it too!

This quiche looks fantastic. I love that you don’t have to mess around making a crust for this one! Quick and easy is awesome!

Jennifer B April 22, 2013 at 3:27 pm

Isabel, what a great-looking quiche you have here! I love spinach quiche as well and you can completely tell that it’s more of a custard texture to it. I usually make mine with chives, goat cheese and a little bit of ham- yum. :)

Lori @ Foxes Love Lemons April 22, 2013 at 9:11 pm

Looks so good, nobody will miss the crust! My mom always requests quiche for Mother’s Day, so I’m bookmarking this!

I love crustless quiche and that crispy top you have on yours is gorgeous!

Laura | Small Wallet, Big Appetite April 23, 2013 at 4:21 pm

Oh wow, with that cheese layer on top who needs crust.

Susan April 23, 2013 at 4:48 pm

So simple and completely doable on a weeknight!

Paula @ Vintage Kitchen April 25, 2013 at 8:50 am

Showers must be responsible for endless tons of quiche being made all over the world. A crustless one is perfect Isabel! One to add to my files.

Nancy @ gottagetbaked April 25, 2013 at 2:15 pm

I adore quiche, Isabel, and yours always look wonderful. As much as I love crust, I certainly wouldn’t miss it if I had a big slice of this. It looks so dense and creamy. I’m definitely going to make this for a weeknight dinner.

FamilyFoodie April 28, 2013 at 9:49 am

Thanks Nancy. Let me know how it turns out.
