labor day cookoutCan you believe Labor Day is here already?  Where did the summer go?  Labor Day weekend is always a special time to me.  We were married on Labor Day Weekend.  Reis, our third son, was born on Labor Day Weekend.  Can you believe that?  That stinker waited until 12:03 am and was born on our wedding anniversary.  I think that was the last time we celebrated our anniversary.  Now that day belongs to Reis.  For us, it’s always a good time to get together with friends and host a Labor Day Cookout.

There are many factors that go into making a Labor Day Cookout fun.  One of the most important things is the food!  You all know I am not about Fancy Schmancy Parties.   I love laid back get togethers where everyone enjoys time Around the Family Table conversing and enjoying delicious food.

I turned to the #SundaySupper team and asked them what their favorite items to bring to a Labor Day Cookout were.  As usual, they did not disappoint.  I am telling you, if you ever need inspiration or a new recipe, this is the group to come to.  They will blow you away with their recipes.

Join us this week around the family table for our #SundaySupper and we will share with you our favorite cookout recipes .  We hope to inspire you with these fabulous recipes from our talented contributors.  We will be sharing them all day long and would love for you to share your favorite cookout recipes during our #SundaySupper live chat at 7pm ET.

I had to smile – Daniel was born on Valentine’s Day, so we got to celebrate our first one together as a married couple, and he came along at 2:04 am on the next, and made it our one and only. : )
Looking forward to tomorrow!
